With its seminars, the VDWF wants to help ensure that the German-speaking tool and mold making industry stays “ahead by a nose” – which is why non-members are always welcome at the association's events. Current challenges such as digitization and high levels of practical applicability are extremely important to us at all events. Further emphasis is placed on those topics for which tool and mold makers immersed in the technical and time-sensitive natures of their jobs often have too little time: personnel management, marketing, and sales. The VDWF deliberately focuses on small groups in order to guarantee a high level of learning and optimal support in its seminars.

Online events are increasingly available to complement the range of further education courses. Because these online events eliminate travel costs and travel time, barriers to entry for participation are reduced. This allows for a wider range of topics. In addition, the conference tools have improved: They are easier to use and enable optimal transmission of the learning content.

Members of the VDWF and the partner associations, as well as subscribers to the trade magazines “Werkzeug & Formenbau” and “Form+Werkzeug” receive reduced participation fees.
