VDWF dates 2025 at a glance: Networking, further education - enjoy "other time"
The VDWF has once again planned numerous exciting events in the coming year, from trade fair appearances and new "voll wild" editions to the obligatory barbecue. All important dates for 2025 are summarized here.
The VDWF will kick off the new year in January 2025 with another event in the "voll wild" series. The program includes visits to DMG Mori, the Bad Salzungen graduation house, Vario-Metall and finally the Merkers adventure mine in and around Eisenach. The tour will conclude with an evening event at RSB Stahl.
At the beginning of April, "voll wild" will go on tour to Portugal again, and at the end of September, another local event of the format will take place in the Heilbronn region in Bretzfeld at the model and mold making company Wolpert, which is aimed at owners, managing directors, senior employees and decision-makers or their assistants.
Practical forums, annual general meeting, barbecue and more
The VDWF 2025 is also continuing another series of events that is always well attended: the Praxisforum Kunststofftechnik will take place in its online edition in March. In June, the Additive Manufacturing Practice Forum will be held at the Fraunhofer IPK in Berlin and in September, the industry will be able to attend the new edition of the VDWF-WBA Toolmaking Practice Forum.
Next year in May, interested parties are also invited to a marketing manager get-together. This will be followed in June by a "Hard on Hard" punching meeting in Pockau-Lengefeld at PW Oertel and an eroding meeting at the Fraunhofer IPK in Berlin. The date for the VDWF's annual general meeting in Lossburg is April 10, and there will also be another pre-event. Finally, the VDWF will celebrate its popular barbecue in Marienberg at the end of June, hopefully in the best summer weather.
Upcoming industry trade fairs with VDWF participation
Of course, the VDWF will once again be represented at several trade fairs with joint stands, where numerous companies will have the opportunity to present themselves. In addition to Fakuma, which takes place from October 15 to 19, 2024, these include next year's Moulding Expo in May and Blechexpo in October.
VDWF Managing Director Ralf Dürrwächter is looking forward to a new year packed with events. "We look forward to once again offering our members a wide range of events in 2025 for networking and further training or simply to enjoy a 'different time'."
