You don't know which products are manufactured in "toolmaking"? Don't worry, the majority of Germans have no idea either. And you don't have to know either! Tools in our industry are not pliers, saws or screwdrivers, but rather high-tech production tools that are used to shape plastic, glass and metal into the products we use every day.
The main concern of the German Tool and Die Makers' Association (VDWF) is to strengthen the tool and die makers' profession, which is mainly characterized by small and medium-sized companies. This also includes supporting companies in recruiting young talent. The VDWF is now looking for a "street worker" to get young people throughout Germany interested in tool and mold making. Apart from enjoying networking people and coordinating events, you don't need any technical expertise - specialists from the association will be on hand to help when it comes to getting to grips with the subject matter.
Your area of responsibility:
- Addressing trainees and career starters in tool and mold making in order to "pick up" young people together before they enter vocational training
- Developing the content of topics relevant to the target group
- Implementation of various projects and offers to generate enthusiasm for tool and mould making (workshops, seminars, etc. as well as visits to companies, schools and youth centers in all regions of Germany)
- Networking of trainees in tool and mold making companies
- Activation and maintenance of social networks
Your profile:

- Creativity and curiosity
- Enjoy working independently and interacting with young people
- Communication skills
- and very practical: a valid driving license (class B)
