Over 70 co-exhibitors at the VDWF joint stand: Moulding Expo enters a new round after a four-year break
The largest tool and mold making event in Europe is just around the corner: After a pandemic-related break of four years, Moulding Expo will once again take place in Stuttgart from June 13 to 16. The trade fair is the showcase for tool, pattern and mold making - in the heart of the largest market for industrial goods and at the most beautiful and modern exhibition grounds in Europe.
The VDWF set a record at Moulding Expo 2019: With around 80 participants on over 1000m2, the joint stand was the largest in the association's 30-year history. The association will build on this success in 2023: Over 70 companies have registered their participation and so the stand in the middle of Hall 1 will once again be a crowd puller this year.
The focus of the international trade fair is on tool, pattern and mold making, but system suppliers and service providers for plastics technology and metalworking will also be exhibiting: from material suppliers, hot runner manufacturers, measuring and testing equipment providers to software houses. A supporting programme of workshops, lectures and discussion panels will provide insights into relevant topics such as sales, purchasing, contract law and technical knowledge relating to automation, digitalization and sustainability. As part of a special show, Innonet will present live the individual processing steps in the creation of filigree plastic tweezers - from toolmaking and plastic processing to joining and printing. In addition, the Medal of Honor for special services to the industry will be awarded in a festive setting on the Moulding Expo exhibitor evening on June 15. The fourth award winner will be chosen by an independent jury consisting of representatives from the VDWF, VDMA, VDW and WBA associations, among others.
"The VDWF is a professional and conceptual partner of the trade fair - it's our flagship, so to speak," explains VDWF Managing Director Ralf Dürrwächter. "That's why it's naturally a very special highlight that we're all looking forward to," he adds - after the long break, the anticipation among exhibitors and visitors is particularly high when the entire industry finally comes together in one place again. In addition to visiting the VDWF joint stand, Dürrwächter therefore cordially invites all industry players to the association's stand party on the evening of the Wednesday of the trade fair. "Networking with good food and a cold drink - what could be better?" Interested parties can book a free ticket on the Moulding Expo website using the registration code "MEX23VDWF".
